We are seeking talented engineers who want to work in the biggest projects and are not afraid of new challenges. As a Layout Engineer at SEIMAF UK, you will be part of a dynamic team powering the biggest British and European nuclear projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the team lead in technical coordination, production, and monitoring of layout engineering studies for one or more buildings.
  • Coordinate equipment layout and interfaces, general multi-discipline layout coordination, building design, and support to civil maturity.
  • Propose technical solutions to improve design maturity and monitor and resolve design Open Points in the specific building scope.
  • Receive input data for the layout engineering of the building, analyze and verify technical consistency, and produce and review layout-related technical documents.
  • Coordinate and produce layout drawings and other deliverables, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and rules.
  • Monitor 3D activities by interfacing with the design office in charge of 3D production.
Requirements
  • HVAC, piping, equipment, civil, and cable trays knowledge (at least 3 out of 5).
  • Good knowledge and understanding of general layout rules for an industrial project.
  • Knowledge of the general operation of a nuclear power station and associated safety aspects.
