About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our dynamic team at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality direct and indirect patient care, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent clinical care within our Haematology day unit.

Main Responsibilities

As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing guidance and support to junior staff within the team
  • Working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Supporting patients who attend for assessment, treatment, and those who may present with treatment-related problems or unwell

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience
  • Evidence of healthcare courses
  • Good communication skills
