Health and Safety Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health and Safety Co-ordinator to join our team at Perrys Vauxhall Canterbury. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing health and safety duties to ensure a safe working environment for our employees, visitors, and contractors.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement controls to mitigate risks.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety procedures and best practices.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to source appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure its proper use.
- Monitor and report on health and safety statistics and trends, and implement initiatives to improve safety performance.
- Previous experience in a health and safety role, preferably in a similar industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
