Herts Young Homeless is a charity dedicated to breaking the cycle of homelessness in Hertfordshire. We are seeking an Individual Giving Officer to join our small, dedicated fundraising team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the Individual Giving income stream, with a revenue target of £90-100K. This is a new programme, providing scope to grow it by providing excellent stewardship through meaningful engagement and thoughtful communications.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • An understanding of support acquisition and retention, supporter journey development and motivations for giving
  • Experience of using a CRM database to support relationship management
  • Understanding of developing fundraising or communication initiatives or campaigns

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategy for Individual Giving
  • Build and maintain relationships with donors and supporters
  • Manage the Individual Giving programme, including budgeting and reporting

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in fundraising or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £28,000 - £30,000
  • A permanent contract
