Job Title: ASD Tutor

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ASD Tutor to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As an ASD Tutor, you will play a vital role in providing personalized support and guidance to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a one-to-one setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver tailored tutoring lessons and sensory sessions to meet the unique needs and learning styles of individuals with ASD.
  • Work closely with children with ASD, providing face-to-face support in their homes and the local community.
  • Implement behavioral interventions and strategies to manage challenging behavior.
  • Develop and implement resources to support children's learning, including Maths, English, and play-based activities.
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to support.
Requirements:
  • SEN experience, preferably as a teaching assistant, one-to-one, or in a similar role.
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging, nurturing, and sensory sessions.
  • Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders, including an understanding of sensory processing, communication, and social interaction challenges.
  • Capacity to check pupils' progress and provide feedback.
