Job Title: Children's Residential Manager

Halcyon Care Dorset Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Manager to join their team in Bournemouth. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the 5-bedded residential home, providing a safe and nurturing environment for children aged 8-18 years.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the home operates in accordance with OFSTED regulations and standards.
  • Work collaboratively with key organizations to drive the delivery of high-quality care and support services.
  • Lead a team of staff to provide individualized care and support to children, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each child, working closely with the wellbeing and psychological team.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care and support services, making recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
  • A caring and patient nature, with excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure, managing competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Previous experience of working in a children's home setting, although not essential.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality care and support services, with a focus on the core values of non-judgmental, empathetic, and individualized care.
