We are seeking an experienced Automation Systems Engineer to join our team in Linthwaite, Huddersfield. As a key member of our Technical Operations team, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of our automation systems, ensuring they are running efficiently and effectively.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a solid background in Electrical Engineering and strong technical experience in automation, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry. You will be responsible for:

  • Providing guidance on automation system-related issues and managing external contractors for maintenance and modification.
  • Supporting continuous automation improvement projects to enhance efficiency and reliability.
  • Identifying new opportunities for automation within our manufacturing process.
  • Maintaining GMP-relevant documentation and providing training to associates on automation systems.
  • Managing external contractors for capital and expense projects.
  • Coaching automation topics within your area of responsibility.
  • Reviewing and participating in the ongoing maintenance of computerized systems and data management.
