Job Summary

Norfolk & Suffolk Foundation NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Occupational Therapist to join our Crisis Response and Home Treatment Team based at Hellesdon Hospital in Norwich.

As a senior occupational therapist within the team, you will be responsible for shift coordination, triaging, assessments, and working in a community setting without solely holding a caseload.

Our diverse team offers a range of opportunities for professional growth and development, working alongside senior clinicians in a varied occupational therapy role.

We are passionate about providing alternative to hospital admissions, and you can expect to undertake intensive and rewarding work with clients presenting in crisis.

Main Responsibilities of the Job

When you join us, you will be supported in building your competence in assessment, with a minimum of two-week local induction and a core competency framework to work with.

We host regular reflective practice sessions, training days, and wellbeing workshops, as well as clinical and management supervision.

Our team is quality improvement focused and has regular interfaces with a range of teams, both internally and externally.
