Learning Disabilities Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Disabilities Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Thornbury Community Services. As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities to live safe and fulfilling lives.
Job Summary:As a Learning Disabilities Healthcare Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible support.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide person-centered care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, promoting their independence and dignity.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans, working closely with our multidisciplinary team.
- Support clients with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
- Assist clients with medication management and administration.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, promoting their mental and emotional well-being.
- Work collaboratively with our team to ensure seamless care and support.
We are looking for a motivated and compassionate individual with a minimum of 12 months of experience working with adults with learning disabilities. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also have a strong understanding of the principles of person-centered care and be able to work autonomously, as well as part of a team.
