Auditor and Examiner

Reed - Further Education is seeking an Examiner and Auditor to join one of the leading accrediting bodies for workplace transport training.
The successful candidate will be responsible for arranging and conducting material handling equipment (MHE) operator training audits and providing guidance/advice to customers on matters relating to MHE training/safety.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting MHE instructor exams
- Conducting LGV instructor exams
- Ensuring all reports and assessment evidence are high quality and recorded accurately
- Collaborating with team members to continuously improve the services offered by the company
- Attending team standardisation meetings
- Undertaking relevant continuous professional development
- Maintaining safe systems of work at all times
Requirements include:
- Lift truck instructor qualification (current or expired from RTITB, ITSSAR, AITT, NPORS or LANTRA)
- Current C+E LGV Licence
- Effective communication skills
- A desire to develop and improve others
- A commitment to safety
- Ability to work effectively unsupervised
Desirable qualifications include:
- LGV Instructor qualification (current or expired from DVSA, RTITB, NVDIR, NRI)
- ISO9001 Lead Auditor qualification (or equivalent)
- 5+ years' experience delivering LGV or MHE training
- ADI
- PCV Licence
- Knowledge of PREVENT and safeguarding
