Facilities Operations Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Facilities Operations Coordinator to join our team at Folkestone Girls School. This role is ideal for someone who has a passion for facilities management and wants to make a real difference in the education sector.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, students, and external partners. They will be responsible for maintaining the school's premises, including undertaking general repairs and maintenance, ensuring security of the site, and operating and regularly checking heating, cooling, lighting, and security systems.
About the Role:
- To maintain the school's premises in a clean and safe condition;
- To undertake general repairs and maintenance around the establishment;
- To ensure resources such as cleaning supplies and equipment are stored and maintained appropriately;
- To maintain security of the site;
- To operate and regularly check heating, cooling, lighting, and security systems.
Responsibilities:
- To work collaboratively with the facilities team to maintain the school's premises;
- To provide a high level of customer service to staff, students, and external partners;
- To contribute to the development and implementation of facilities management strategies and policies;
- To maintain accurate records and reports related to facilities management.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
- Proven experience of facilities management in an educational setting;
- Ability to maintain accurate records and reports;
- Understanding of health and safety procedures.
Salary: £28,500 - £31,000 per annum
