We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting children and young people in challenging communities, and who is committed to helping them make positive choices and develop their skills and abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with a wide range of students with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties
- Provide individual and group support to help students develop their skills and abilities
- Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement support plans
- Help students to develop positive relationships with their peers and adults
- Support students to access learning and participate in activities
Requirements:
- Graduate degree in a relevant field (e.g. Criminology, Psychology)
- Experience working with children and young people in challenging communities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to supporting young people and helping them to achieve their goals
