Support Assistant for Students with Autism

We are a specialist school in Disley, Cheshire, providing education and support to students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated teaching assistant to join our team.
Job Summary:This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of young people, helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, therapists, and other staff to ensure a holistic approach to education.
Key Responsibilities:- Encourage positive behaviour in line with our school's policies.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to develop and implement individualised learning plans.
- Provide emotional support and nurture an inclusive learning environment.
- Experience working with children or young people with Autism Spectrum Condition.
- A genuine passion for supporting learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
The salary for this role is estimated to be around £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a range of benefits, including breakfast, break, and lunch provided free of charge, as well as on-site car parking.
