About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Practitioner to join our Child In Care Team. As a Senior Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide social work services to children and families in need, including assessment, planning, and intervention.
  • Develop and implement effective plans to support children and families, including case management and coordination with other agencies.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals, including social workers, teachers, and healthcare professionals, to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and families.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop comprehensive plans to address the needs of children and families.
  • Provide support and guidance to junior social workers and other team members.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • Full SWE registration.
  • Relevant experience in child protection and child care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
