Construction Management Specialist

CV Library is seeking an experienced Groundwork Quantity Surveyor for our client in the UK. The company is renowned for delivering top-quality groundwork and civil engineering services across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
Job Description:This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects and contribute to the continued success of the business.
- Prepare and manage project budgets and cost plans.
- Manage procurement processes, including sourcing and negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Assess and certify subcontractor payments and variations.
- Monitor and manage project cash flow, ensuring timely invoicing and payments.
- Provide regular financial reports and forecasts to senior management.
- Assist in the preparation and negotiation of final accounts.
- Support the project management team in delivering successful project outcomes.
Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum. CV Library offers a competitive salary package based on experience, industry standards, and location.
Requirements:- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within the groundworks or civil engineering sector.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost management, and procurement processes.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, QS software).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or a related field (e.g., BSc in Quantity Surveying, RICS accredited degree).
- Full UK driving license.
