About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our Hotel Reception Team at the exclusive Culloden Estate and Spa.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing an efficient, professional, and friendly check-in and check-out experience for our guests.

You will be knowledgeable about the facilities and services within the hotel and the local area, and will be proactive in promoting these to our guests.

Responsibilities include:

  • Checking in and checking out guests, ensuring accurate procedures are followed for receiving payment.
  • Managing accurate and efficient accounts and guest billing processes.
  • Balancing bank, cash, foreign currency, and all transactions at the end of each shift.
  • Answering telephone calls from guests and external callers.
  • Assisting guests with reasonable requests for hotel services.
  • Responding to complaints and finding suitable solutions.
  • Maintaining the reception area in a clean and tidy manner, adhering to departmental standards.
  • Reporting any technical and maintenance needs.
  • Ensuring the security of reception and storage areas is maintained at all times.
  • Complying with all health, safety, hygiene, and licensing policies and procedures.
  • Working effectively with colleagues to maintain a harmonious working environment.
