Job Title: Safeguarding Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Safeguarding Professional to join our team in Oldham. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with children, families, and multi-agency partners to provide high-quality support and guidance.

About the Role:

In this critical role, you will manage complex safeguarding cases, undertaking statutory duties such as Child Protection planning, Child in Need assessments, and care proceedings. You will also prepare and present high-quality reports and evidence for court, demonstrating a sound understanding of legal frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake statutory duties, including Child Protection planning, Child in Need assessments, and care proceedings.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in child protection, safeguarding, and court work.
  • Degree in Social Work and registration with Social Work England.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • A thorough understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and systemic approaches.
