Tarmac Trading Limited is looking for a highly skilled Laboratory Testing Professional to join their team.

The estimated salary for this role is £40,000-£50,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role:

  • This is a full-time position that requires a strong understanding of laboratory testing procedures and protocols.
  • You will be responsible for conducting tests on Readymix products, working closely with the Technical Manager.
  • Your work will involve laboratory-based activities, requiring you to analyze samples and provide accurate test results.
  • You will need to have excellent analytical skills, being able to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine laboratory tests to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Analyze test results, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Technical Manager to develop and implement new testing procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of testing results and any corrective actions taken.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g., materials science, chemistry, physics).
  • Possession of NVQ level 3 Technician or similar relevant in-house certification would be beneficial but is not essential.
  • Able to work independently, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
