Role Overview:

As a Senior PHP Developer at uCheck, you will play a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of our web applications.

Working within a dynamic team, you will be responsible for crafting innovative solutions, ensuring the performance and responsiveness of our systems.

Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams and implementing best practices to deliver high-quality, scalable PHP-based applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, test, and maintain robust PHP-based web applications.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application code to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in PHP development, incorporating best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather and understand project requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a PHP Developer, with a strong portfolio of web applications.
  • Solid understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies.
  • Experience with AWS infrastructure, including EC2, RDS, SES, SQS, and CloudWatch.
  • Experience with PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, etc.) and content management systems.
  • Database experience, preferably with MySQL or similar relational databases.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies and frameworks is a plus.
