About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PHP Developer to join our team at uCheck. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our web applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain robust PHP-based web applications
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application code to ensure optimal performance and reliability
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in PHP development, incorporating best practices and emerging technologies
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather and understand project requirements
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a PHP Developer, with a strong portfolio of web applications
  • Solid understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies
  • Experience with AWS infrastructure, including EC2, RDS, SES, SQS, and CloudWatch
  • Experience with PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, etc.) and content management systems
  • Database experience, preferably with MySQL or similar relational databases
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies and frameworks is a plus
