About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Associate/Technical Director to join our expanding Engineering Team at Ridge & Partners LLP.

As an Associate Partner, you will play a key role in developing and expanding our London Building Services Engineering team with new and existing opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing Building Services within Ridge and contribute to the Building Services discipline group
  • Lead the technical development of the group and assist the office Partner in leading and managing the Building Services team
  • Manage existing clients and develop further opportunities to grow the group
  • Be responsible for resourcing and delivering to a financial target
  • Raise awareness of Ridge by attending networking events, seminars, and business development events
  • Attend project group and technical meetings to ensure design and maintenance of building systems meet legislative and health and safety requirements
  • Advise clients and architects on energy use and conservation in various buildings and sites, aiming to minimize environmental impact and reduce carbon footprint
  • Peer review of colleagues' work
Requirements
  • Educated to degree or HND level
  • Chartered or on pathway to Chartership
  • Mechanical engineering background

You will have experience with designing projects from conception through to completion, including calculations, drawings, specifications, and demonstrating commercial awareness in winning work.
