We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist/Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist to join our team at Whittington Health NHS Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering evidence-based interventions to children and young people, and their families, where there is a significant concern about their emotional or psychological well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality, culturally sensitive therapeutic services to young people and families.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and other agencies to provide a comprehensive service.
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for children and young people with complex emotional and behavioural difficulties.
- Provide training and supervision to other staff members.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the development of service policies and procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A postgraduate/doctoral level qualification in Clinical Psychology, Family and Systemic Psychotherapy, or Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy.
- Experience of working with children and young people with complex emotional and behavioural difficulties.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of evidence-based interventions and theories of child development.
