About the Role

As a Financial Modeling Specialist at Sovereign Realty & Management LLC., you will play a pivotal role in driving analytical and project support for investment activities. This includes constructing financial models, sensitivity analyses, comparable analyses, and other financial and asset due diligence and industry research.

Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum

Job Description

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Leading due diligence and execution of transactions
  • Liaising with external partners and due diligence advisors such as sponsors, brokers, attorneys, investors, and third-party consultants during deal transaction
  • Assisting with legal negotiations and due diligence
  • Work with asset management team to monitor and rate existing investments on an on-going basis
  • Assist with creating memoranda for internal and external use
  • Assist in the day-to-day tasks of the group including the creation of presentations, excel spreadsheets, databases, etc. on an ad hoc basis
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 1+ years' experience in investment banking, real estate, private equity, principal investing, and/or advisory/brokering
  • Bachelor's degree from a top university, preferably in Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills to communicate with various internal & external counterparties
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Excel modelling, and presentational skills (PowerPoint and others)
  • Ability to meaningfully contribute to strategic dialogue and collaborate effectively with investment teams and external advisory resources
  • Demonstrates strong investment judgment through ability to identify potential risks and find solutions to roadblocks throughout all stages of a deal
  • Excellent attention to detail; excels in a rigorous and fast-paced team-oriented work environment
