About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Abel & Cole. As a key member of our Site Services team, you will be responsible for delivering effective maintenance support to our operational and facilities equipment across the Andover sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Site Services team and other members of the Andover Operations to ensure seamless maintenance support.
  • Deputise for the Maintenance Supervisor in their absence.
  • Ensure Health & Safety standards are in place and regularly reviewed.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards, including LOLER and PUWER.
  • Implement a cost-effective maintenance plan, including CM and PPM.
  • Provide an effective Asset Care program across the Andover Operation.
  • Work within the day-to-day Site Services budget.
  • Identify training and development needs for the team.
Requirements
  • Hold at least a Level 3 City & Guilds building services 'electrical installation route' qualification or equivalent.
  • Hold a Level 3 Diploma in Installation of Electrotechnical systems & equipment or equivalent.
  • Hold a 17th edition qualification, preferably 18th edition.
  • Be a qualified or apprentice-trained Maintenance engineer with a mechanical/electrical background.
  • Have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively across all levels of the organisation.
  • Be highly organised and able to multi-task and prioritise.
  • Have proven experience in a Production/Facilities/Maintenance environment.
  • Be a confident and assertive individual.
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of cGMP standards and guidelines.
  • Be IT literate and competent in MS Office applications.
What We Offer
  • A full-time position, Sunday to Thursday, 37.5 hours per week (05:00am – 13:30pm, with some flexibility required).
  • Overtime paid at basic 1.5.
