About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Abel & Cole. As a key member of our Site Services team, you will be responsible for delivering effective maintenance support to our operational and facilities equipment across our Andover sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely and cooperatively with other members of the Site Services team and all other members of the Andover Operations.
  • Deputise for the Maintenance Supervisor in their absence.
  • Ensure Health & Safety standards are in place and regularly reviewed.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards (LOLER/PUWER etc).
  • Maintain GXP, specifically cGMP standards.
  • Ensure Contractor control is maintained.
  • Implement a cost-effective maintenance plan CM and PPM.
  • Provide an effective Asset Care program across the Andover Operation.
  • Work within the day-to-day Site Services budget.
  • Identify training and development programs as required.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A minimum of level 3 City & Guild building services 'electrical installation route' or Level 3 Diploma in Installation of Electrotechnical systems & equipment.
  • A qualified or apprentice-trained Maintenance engineer with a mech/elect background.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels within the organisation.
  • Highly organised and able to multi-task and prioritise.
  • Proven experience within a Production/Facilities/Maintenance Environment.
  • A confident and assertive individual.
  • Demonstrable understanding of cGMP standards and guidelines.
  • IT literate, competent in MS Office applications.
  • A team player.
