The Wave Project, a multi-award-winning Surf Therapy charity, seeks a highly skilled Senior Development Manager to join its Senior Leadership Team. As a leader in using surfing as a form of therapy, we aim to support thousands of children and young people annually, improving their confidence, self-esteem, resilience, and social skills.

This challenging role involves providing strategic leadership and operational oversight across all fundraising and marketing activities. You will be responsible for driving sustainable income growth, developing innovative campaigns, and cultivating partnerships that align with our mission.

With an estimated annual salary of £52,000 - £62,000, depending on experience and location, this opportunity offers a competitive package and the chance to make a tangible difference in the lives of young people.

About the Job:

  • Lead the development and implementation of effective fundraising strategies
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with donors, supporters, and partners
  • Monitor and evaluate fundraising performance, identifying areas for improvement
  • Ensure alignment with the charity's mission and values

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Substantial experience in fundraising and development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
