Fundraising Strategist

The Wave Project, a leading Surf Therapy charity, aims to deliver a significant impact through its dedicated team and volunteer base. We pride ourselves on supporting over 2,500 children and young people annually, enhancing their confidence, self-esteem, resilience, and social skills.

As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Chief Philanthropy Officer provides strategic leadership and operational oversight across all fundraising and marketing activities. The role is critical in fostering a strong supporter base, developing innovative campaigns, and cultivating partnerships that align with the charity's mission of transforming young lives through Surf Therapy.

We estimate this role will be remunerated at an annual salary of around £50,000 - £60,000, depending on experience and location.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective fundraising strategies to drive sustainable income growth
• Leverage innovative marketing techniques to enhance the charity's visibility and impact
• Foster strong relationships with donors, supporters, and partners
• Monitor and evaluate fundraising performance, identifying areas for improvement
