Reed Finance is partnering with a prestigious organisation in Glasgow to find an exceptional Indirect Tax Manager. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will provide strategic finance leadership across the organisation through insightful analysis and issue resolution with excellent technical knowledge.
You will also support and develop enhanced liaison between the central finance team and other departments, ensuring accurate, timely, relevant and reliable information allowing delivery of a customer service focus.
The main responsibilities of this position include:
- Managing compliance with all indirect and direct tax matters across the organisation
- Leading, line managing and providing day-to-day support to the tax analysts
- Leading strategic improvement to the efficiency and effectiveness of the processes and controls to support the tax operations
- Building and managing relationships within the organisation as required to ensure that all taxes are considered where projects are being undertaken
- Ensuring that the organisation has a sound tax strategy which it follows at all times
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following:
- Professionally qualified (CTA or similar)
- Significant post-qualification tax experience at a senior level within a large, complex environment
- A strong track record of leadership and delivery at a senior financial level
- Extensive experience of leading and managing teams to deliver excellence
- Substantial professional VAT experience
