Commercial Vehicle Maintenance Specialist

Kautec Recruitment is a fast-growing automotive people business that recruits the right way. We are looking for a skilled Commercial Vehicle Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This role involves traveling to client sites in North London and Essex, providing maintenance and repair services for a variety of heavy goods vehicles.
About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced mechanic to take their technical skills to a dedicated network of customer sites. As a Mobile Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing callouts, preventative maintenance, emergency breakdowns, and pre-arranged servicing at rural sites. You will also be required to diagnose and repair complex faults, improve vehicle standards, and work on electrical and wiring inspections and corrections.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a full commercial vehicle technician qualification or equivalent experience. A Class 2 Licence would be beneficial but not essential. You must have excellent communication skills, a problem-solving attitude, and a can-do mindset. Additionally, you will need to be reliable, punctual, enthusiastic, proactive, and an innovative thinker.
Benefits:
You will start with 24 days annual holiday (plus bank holidays) per annum, be enrolled in the pension scheme, and qualify for the private healthcare scheme. The estimated salary for this role is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
