About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the position of Safeguarding Manager at WWF-UK. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong background in safeguarding and compliance, excellent communication and analytical skills, and a passion for working in a dynamic environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of our Environmental and Social Safeguards Framework, Statements of Principles, and Safeguarding Policy in our work with communities internationally and in the UK. You will also lead on safeguarding governance and reporting, provide training and coaching to increase the level of safeguarding capability in adult and child safeguarding in key departments, and investigate safeguarding incidents and concerns.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience of working in a safeguarding position, preferably in an NGO setting
* Knowledge of child and adult protection policies, practices, and legislation across the UK and internationally
* An understanding of HR policy and procedure as it relates to safeguarding
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills

Benefits and Rewards:
* A competitive salary of £43,000-47,000 per annum
* A full benefits and rewards package, including annual leave starting at 26 days a year, rising one day each year to a maximum of 30 days plus bank holidays, flexible working options, 5% employer contribution to pension, increased to 10% with employee contribution, training and development opportunities, and regular wellbeing initiatives
* The opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, with a requirement to be in the office 20% of your contracted hours
