VANRATH is seeking a skilled Bench Craftsman to join our team on high-end fit-out projects in Antrim, Northern Ireland. This is a 6-month contract initially, with a strong likelihood of becoming permanent. The remuneration package includes a competitive salary of £61,000 per year (DOE) plus an excellent benefits package.

As a Bench Craftsman, you will be responsible for the production and assembly of wood and metal products. You will interpret and read workshop/design drawings to ensure that quality standards are met and maintained. Your primary objective will be to meet delivery dates for all items produced while adhering to relevant environmental and health & safety regulations and procedures.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Producing and assembling wood and metal products.
  • Interpreting workshop drawings.
  • Maintaining quality standards.

The ideal candidate should have post-apprenticeship experience in carpentry and joinery gained within a manufacturing or shop fitting environment.
