Craftsman Carpenter

VANRATH is a leading fit-out contractor based in Antrim, Northern Ireland. We specialize in high-end residential and commercial projects across various sectors. Our expertise includes bespoke furniture design, case goods production, and precision joinery work.

We are currently seeking an experienced Bench Joiner to join our team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have post-apprenticeship experience in carpentry and joinery, preferably gained in a manufacturing or shop fitting environment. Site joinery experience is advantageous.

The successful candidate will be responsible for prefabricating high-quality joinery products using hand and mechanized tools. They must be able to interpret workshop designs, read drawings, and work with minimum supervision. Key skills include proficiency in setting up work pieces, processing tasks efficiently, and producing quality workmanship.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and experience on prestigious projects. You will work 4.5 days a week (40 hours plus option for overtime) with additional holidays as you gain tenure.
