About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide life-changing treatment and support for children and adults with communication difficulties.

Job Description

In this rewarding role, you will provide therapy for individuals with speech, language, eating, drinking, and swallowing disorders. You will work closely with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop tailored treatment plans that meet their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized therapy sessions for children and adults with communication disorders
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with patients and multidisciplinary teams
  • Work in regular and flexible shifts to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Prioritize patient-centered care, maintaining confidentiality and respecting patient autonomy

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A degree in Speech and Language Therapy or a related field
  • Registration with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT)
  • Experience working with children and adults with communication disorders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
