Structural Engineering Manager

The Engineering Manager - Structures will be accountable for the delivery of Structural engineering deliverables to our projects. You will be expected to provide technical expertise into our ongoing projects, bids and proposals and to represent Evolv Energies at client and stakeholder meetings as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide inspirational line management, mentoring and leadership to the Structural Engineering team, ensuring their skills are utilized to their full potential and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Liaise and collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver structural engineering services, ensuring compliance with industry design standards.
- Lead Structural Engineering excellence and deliverables through tenders, feasibility studies, project specifications and design review, ensuring quality assurance throughout.
- Ensure projects and tenders are delivered in accordance with both Evolv Energies and Client engineering requirements, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Manage and assign necessary Structural Engineering and technical resources to projects throughout tendering and delivery, ensuring effective use of resources.
- Drive the incorporation of sound engineering practices and innovation into designs to deliver value for our clients, leveraging the use of machine learning and AI techniques to increase efficiency.
- Promote and manage safety in design across our projects, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and effective delivery of CDM Principal Designer and Designer roles.
- Be a Chartered Engineer with demonstrable Structural Engineering expertise in offshore wind, possessing a detailed understanding of engineering deliverables and industry design standards.
- Have significant previous experience in a structural engineering management role, ideally in the offshore wind sector, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
