As a Project Manager at Siemens Energy, you will be responsible for managing the scope, specification, time, cost, quality, risk & resource aspects of the project. You will also manage the commercial aspects to ensure that the financial objectives of the project are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the scope, specification, time, cost, quality, risk & resource aspects of the project.
- Manage the commercial aspects to ensure that the financial objectives of the project are achieved.
- Identify tender/contract scope.
- Specify, control, and deliver contract specific quality assurance requirements.
- Purchase parts, raw material, and sub-contract processes.
- Coordinate, integrate and motivate the project team and project participants to ensure successful project execution.
- Monitor and review the status of the project, identify issues, and develop solutions to fulfill contract obligations.
- Promote a responsible health, safety & environment culture.
- Manage the customer interface to maintain a good working relationship consistent with the Company's interests.
Requirements
- Educated to degree level in relevant engineering or commercial discipline.
- Recognised formal PM qualification such as IPMA Level C, APMP or equivalent.
- Knowledge and / or experience of the power generation market sector.
- Experience in an engineering business related to hardware supply or service contract provision, including subcontractor management.
- Experience of large rotating equipment and systems (Steam Turbines and Generators – up to 660MW) would be advantageous.
- Self-motivated, flexible, and collaborative team worker.
