Job Title: Senior Project Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our expanding Real Estate team in Newcastle. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading Project Management Commissions, taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To act as the key, day-to-day client interface, ensuring that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards.
  • To lead the establishment of the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical, and performance parameters.
  • To plan for and the ongoing management of quality, safety, health, and environment issues.
  • To establish effective project governance, processes, and systems to be utilized throughout the project.
  • To project planning, including ensuring the production of the detailed project plan.
  • To advise upon the procurement of resources.
  • To lead and facilitate the overall cross-functional project team.
  • To monitor and apply performance management techniques, including the use of KPIs to improve project performance.
  • To manage the change control process.
  • To monitor and advise upon project finances.
  • To manage the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications.
  • To ensure the production of formal project progress and other reports.
  • To take a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • To take responsibility for developing new business opportunities with existing and new Turner & Townsend clients.
  • To identify and act upon cross-selling opportunities.
  • To work with Associate Directors and Directors to construct bids for new work.
  • To attend formal client pitches with Assistant Directors and Directors.
  • To ensure that project case study, photograph, and project CV files are kept up to date.
  • To identify and act upon opportunities to improve project management products and services.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in a relevant discipline.
  • Proven experience managing Real Estate projects, ideally in a consultancy environment.
