Mental Health Assistant Manager - Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Mental Health Assistant Manager to join our team at Sanctuary Supported Living. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual to manage a team of Care and Support Assistants in providing mental health care and support services to our customers.

About the Role:
This role will involve managing a team to provide mental health care and support to customers, promoting their independence and personal potential. You will work closely with staff to ensure safe handling of medication and promote safe practices and undertake risk assessments as appropriate.

The successful candidate will have recent experience of working in a similar role with vulnerable people, a strong 'can-do' attitude, and organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing a team of Care and Support Assistants
  • Providing mental health care and support to customers
  • Safe handling of medication
  • Promoting safe practices and undertaking risk assessments

Estimated Salary: £30,000-£35,000 per annum (£12.67 per hour).
