EHS Consultant

Are you a highly motivated Health and Safety Advisor seeking a new challenge? People Group Limited is recruiting for a talented individual to join their team as a Health and Safety Advisor on a 4-month contract basis. The estimated salary for this role is £37,000 per annum.

• Spearhead efforts to ensure legislative compliance and continuously improve safety performance in the water and wastewater infrastructure sectors.
• Develop engaging safety communications, including Toolbox Talks, safety briefings, and wellbeing campaigns.
• Provide expert training and advice to operatives and supervisors, promoting a culture of openness and transparency regarding near misses.
• Evaluate risk assessments and method statements to guarantee temporary works are conducted safely.
• Collaborate with the Regional Health and Safety Manager to identify necessary safety training for site-based staff.
• Build strong relationships with the Health and Safety Executive during site visits.

1. A proven track record of success as a Health and Safety Manager with experience in MEICA.
2. A minimum of 2 years' experience working within the water sector for a Tier 1/2 Contractor.
3. Possession of a relevant EHS qualification (NEBOSH Construction and/or IOSH).
4. Demonstrated expertise in reviewing and approving subcontractor RAMS and SOPs, ensuring AWS standards compliance.
