About the Role

Estimated salary: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager Lead to join our team in EngineeringUK. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for leading large and complex projects from start to finish.

You will have overall responsibility for the successful delivery of MEP services, health & safety, and subcontractor performance and wellbeing. This includes liaising with clients, main contractors, and consultants to ensure seamless collaboration and timely completion of projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, preferably within the construction or engineering industry. You will have excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide project teams towards achieving their goals.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading the production of logic linked programmes, preconstruction, construction, and commissioning.
  • Developing and implementing project health & safety strategies.
  • Liaising with clients, main contractors, and consultants to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports, including EHS inspections and weekly dependency schedule production.
  • Coordinating project close-out activities, including commissioning strategy implementation and resource requirements planning.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Detailed knowledge of mechanical or electrical installation techniques, best practices, and single system and integrated critical path commissioning requirements.
  • Proven experience in managing and leading project teams on large and complex projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • A valid CSCS management card and SMSTS certification.
  • A trade or technical apprenticeship qualification within the building services bias, achieving BTECH Level 3/HNC and NVQ or equivalent.
