About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Macmillan Supportive and Palliative Care Service in Manchester. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care to patients with life-limiting conditions.

With a strong background in cancer/palliative care, you will provide supportive palliative care to enhance the quality of life for patients/carers with complex physical, psychological, and emotional needs. Your expertise will include teaching, training, and supervising other staff in the clinical environment.

The successful candidate will have advanced communication skills, non-medical prescribing qualification, and experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team. You will also possess highly specialist knowledge of assessment tools relevant to cancer/palliative care and be able to assume leadership responsibilities.

In return, we offer a competitive salary of approximately £43,056 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including access to a car and opportunities for professional development.
