Insurance Risk Management Professional

Lawes Consulting Group is working with a major insurer who is looking for an experienced Insurance Risk Management Professional to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an established Lloyds Syndicate who is welcoming individuals from any line of business.

The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of experience in an actuarial insurance-based role.

  2. Collaborate with the capital modelling, actuarial and finance teams to ensure consistency in risk modelling across the syndicate and other entities in the Group.
  3. Apply actuarial expertise to design and develop catastrophe modelling and exposure management capabilities for the Lloyds syndicates.
  4. Work closely with data scientists to build best practices and digital portfolio management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  2. Understanding of open data standards in the insurance space, especially catastrophe modelling, would be highly beneficial.
  3. Experience working in multidisciplinary, agile teams would be advantageous.
