About the Role

KPMG in Bermuda is seeking an experienced Actuarial Senior Manager/Director to join our team.

This challenging position requires a strong leader with exceptional actuarial consulting skills and experience in managing a diverse portfolio of engagements.

Responsibilities include providing high-quality actuarial advisory services to clients, building and maintaining strong relationships, and leading the development of new products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide analytical support and technical guidance to clients.
  • Complete and audit loss reserve studies for reinsurance companies.
  • Develop new business through marketing and sales activities.
  • Lead the development of new products and services.
  • Market and raise the profile of the actuarial practice.
  • Conduct reinsurance pricing and special actuarial projects.
  • Support the audit department on client projects as needed.
  • Share knowledge and experience with the team.
  • Produce thought leadership material.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 7 years (Senior Manager) or 10 years (Director) of actuarial experience.
  • FCAS / FIA designation with in-depth knowledge of the Non-Life / P&C (re)insurance industry.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or other suitable numerate discipline.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Exceptional people skills with the ability to work well with staff and clients of all levels.
