About the Role:

Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan is seeking a highly skilled Senior Private Equity Analyst to join our UK-based Private Capital team in London. As a key member of our investment team, you will be responsible for evaluating and managing private equity investments across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deal Execution
    • Prepare investment recommendations and presentations for the Investment Committee.
    • Assist in building financial models to support investment returns, valuation, transaction structuring, and financing.
    • Coordinate and analyze third-party due diligence to support investment recommendations.
  • Deal Origination
    • Conduct research to support the development of investment strategies and evaluate potential investment opportunities.
  • Portfolio Management
    • Participate in the ongoing management and monitoring of portfolio companies, including the semi-annual valuation process.

Requirements:

  • A relevant undergraduate or master's degree with excellent academic performance.
  • Some previous meaningful work experience in an internship capacity, ideally in private equity, investment banking, corporate development, consulting, or transaction services.
  • Special emphasis on accounting, valuation, and financial modeling skills.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills and a solid understanding of fundamental investment analysis.
  • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to travel when necessary.
