Experienced Family Therapist for CAMHS Service
4 days ago
The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Family Therapist to join its Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team.
This senior position requires a highly skilled professional with expertise in systemic and family psychotherapy to lead the provision of two valued provisions: the Family Support Package and the Family Therapy Reflecting Team Clinic.
As part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will contribute to the management and development of the CAMHS service, representing Family Therapy and collaborating with senior colleagues.
You will have additional responsibilities as a clinical supervisor, supporting the development of fellow systemic colleagues, students, and trainees.
Key duties include leading on the provision, development, and monitoring of the Family Therapy Clinic and Parent Support Package, as well as offering training to the wider team on systemic principles.
With high-level knowledge of therapeutic interventions and their application to children with neurodevelopmental issues, you will assist the team in providing family-focused approaches that value parents as resources rather than causes of illness.
The successful candidate will be required to take on the role of Duty Clinician, coordinating responses to queries from families and other services.
This post offers opportunities to work flexibly, both onsite and remotely, as needed by the service and agreed with your line manager.
