Job Overview

Hunter AHP Resourcing is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join their dynamic hospital team in Buckinghamshire. This locum role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with or without hospital experience to broaden their skillset in an inpatient dispensary environment.

The successful candidate will provide inpatient dispensary support, dispense medication accurately and efficiently, and assist in managing the storage, stock, and distribution of pharmaceuticals. They will also collaborate with pharmacy and healthcare teams to enhance patient care.

This is a fantastic opportunity for Pharmacy Technicians to further develop their careers within the hospital setting, regardless of prior experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide inpatient dispensary support
  • Dispense medication accurately and efficiently
  • Assist in managing the storage, stock, and distribution of pharmaceuticals
  • Collaborate with pharmacy and healthcare teams
Requirements
  • GPHC registration (essential)
  • No prior hospital experience required; however, this would be ideal
  • ACT qualification is desirable, but not essential
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
