Grounds Maintenance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Grounds Maintenance Manager to join our team at a 5* holiday park based near Penrith. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the park's grounds and facilities are presented to an exceptional standard.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a team to maintain all grounds aspects of the park, including general maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep of garden areas.
- Ensure all areas of the park are presented to an exceptional standard, including strimming, grass cutting, and litter picking.
- Work with the Maintenance Team to prepare areas around accommodations to the highest standards.
- Communicate with the Maintenance Manager and General Manager to keep them informed of work completed and any issues or faults identified.
- Review and drive improvements of standards across the park and ensure an impeccable presentation in all areas.
- Utilize Company suppliers and ensure full and clear communication with all contractors, overseeing their work and signing off when complete.
- Ensure all equipment, including vehicles and tools, are maintained to the appropriate standard to ensure the Health & Safety of your team and customers.
- Play a proactive part at HOD meetings and attend other meetings and events as required.
- Manage your departmental budget and ensure all HR-related tasks are completed, including recruitment, rotas, and payroll.
- Train and develop your team in all aspects of their roles.
- Monitor and complete all safety checks required and address any highlighted requirements.
- Flexibility with working arrangements, including weekend work and some early evenings.
- A Full driving licence is essential due to the location of the park.
