Adult Mental Health Consultant

Cygnet Hospital Harrow invites applications from experienced Lead Psychiatrists to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will contribute significantly to the delivery of high-quality mental health services.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to take on a leadership role and drive change in mental health care. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in adult psychiatry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Conducting mental state examinations and providing comprehensive reports
- Liaising with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
- Contributing to quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance
In return for your expertise, we offer a highly competitive salary of up to £155,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes generous annual leave entitlement, study leave, and a contributory pension scheme.
The ideal candidate will be registered with the GMC, hold MBBS (or equivalent) qualifications, and have relevant experience in adult psychiatry. They will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development.
