Job Title: HR Business Partner

Randstad UK is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team at Belfast Metropolitan College.

About the Role:

The HR Business Partner will provide strategic HR support to Senior Managers and line managers, ensuring consistently high standards of HR service delivery. Key responsibilities include:

  • Advising on and contributing to the development of HR policies, strategies, and business plans.
  • Providing coaching and mentoring to managers in employee relations, recruitment, and performance management.
  • Implementing proactive employee relations initiatives and providing management guidance on all aspects of employee relations.
  • Working with managers to investigate and resolve complaints, issues, and concerns regarding employment practices.
  • Providing guidance on disciplinary matters to bring about a resolution and minimize the risk of litigation.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant professional qualification (level 6 and above).
  • 5+ years of experience in an HR role, with a focus on employee relations, recruitment, and business partnering.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong understanding of employment law and best practices.
