About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as the Head of Outsourced Finance Services. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading, directing, and continuously improving the outsourced finance department.

Key Responsibilities

">
  • Plan, manage, and prioritize resources within the outsourced finance team
  • Ensure filing deadlines and client-agreed deadlines are met, along with fee targets
  • Agree monthly completion targets and annual development plans with each team member, ensuring adequate resource to meet department targets
  • Produce management accounts for clients
  • Undertake project work to review client systems and processes
  • Provide bookkeeping, payroll, and VAT return services for clients
  • Manage and develop the team in terms of workflows, operational planning, and assignment allocation

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 12 months' experience in heading a department or multiple service lines for a practice
  • ACCA/ACA qualification
  • Proficiency in Xero, CCH, and Advanced Excel
  • Experience with D2C integration and inventory management software
  • Able to plan and communicate effectively on operational changes
  • Able to motivate and support the team's personal and professional development
  • Efficient and personable communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Able to lead by example and inspire the team to deliver high client service standards
