Job Title: Teaching Assistant - Special Education Needs

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Education Needs in a Secondary school in South Cambridge.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position starting in September 2024, with the possibility of extending until at least the end of the Autumn term. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with young people or adults with Autism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Building relationships with pupils and implementing Education Health Care plans
  • Providing a safe and supportive environment for pupils to thrive
  • Collaborating with teachers, SENCo, parents, and other professionals as needed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
